Another picture of this little guy.
Some insect, looks to be a form of grasshopper or kaytidid. There were a bunch of these that were eating the pollen off of day lillies at in my fathers garden.

A fermale grasshopper of some species, depositing eggs in the soil.
A large and noisy red wasp.
Either a bee or a wasp that is feeding on a bright yellow plant.
A nice dark purply blue dragonfly.
The quality gets a little bad as this gets blown up, but I just thought the intense red of the dragonfly was really nice.
The brilliant emerald metallic green coloration makes this dragonfly stand out.

Man were these Pipa pipas huge! They were larger then my hand, and my hands are not small.
These were your run of the mill Oriental Firebelly toads, but they were still very nice and large.
Here is another fatty, an african bullfrog. He was also very very large.
This is your typical Red Eyed Leaf frog. I was probably the only one really interested in him, since he was sleeping and that is not entertaining enough for many people.
Squirrell Tree Frog hunkered down on a leaf, very cute if you ask me.
A nice big Green Tree frog.
A Ribbed Newt.
A huge Alligator Snapping turtle just resting at the front of his tank.
A large Green Anaconda sitting in a typical ambush position along water edges.
A Forest Cobra in a very relaxed position.
A very beautiful Dumerils Ground Boa.
A lovely Gaboon Viper. Its cryptic coloration blended so well with the leaf litter in its tank.
A baby American Crocodile, very cool looking.
A shy Dwarf Caimen.
A good old Mali Uromastyx sunning under its heat light.
A Hosmer's skink. A very cool lizard, and one that can only been seen in the Philadelphia Zoo (thanks for the info Ed).
An inquisitive Bearded Dragon checks me out as I snape his photo.

Wild Herps

I am not sure what snake this is, but I believe it to be a smooth green snake? I found it around some marshes on an island off of one of the Carolinas (I can't remember which one at this time).
Here the snake is cutting through the grass as it heads up a small sand dune.
Another shot of the snake... man was the green on him spectacular!
Male carolina anole flashes his dewlap to another anole in the distance.
I believe this is a female anole, located a couple feet away from the male showing off his dewlap.
I saw a couple of these little baby anoles, and actually held one. They look really funny with their over sized heads. But there were plenty of them on the island.
This anole is showing his deep chocolate brown coloration, as he completes his shed.
Here is a photo of a really bright green anole.
This little guy, well actually he was the biggest toad I had seen in years, startled me as he hoped across the path I was walking on.
I think this is a terrapin? He was trying to cross from one marsh to another that opened up to the ocean.

this is a wierd fungus that has shown up two times now. it deosn\'t seem to cause any arm to the frogs or plants. it actually moves along the glass. you can\'t see it, but when you come back after awhile it has moved to a new location. pretty cool.
Close up of a bunch of plants in a vertical tank of mine. In the front left are Ludisa discolor. The fleshy stem in the background is another taller Ludisa discolor. The vining plant is Cissus amazonica, a very cool plant.
Some mushrooms sprouted out of my ghost wood! I love them, and hope to see more in the future.
A picture of some of the moss and leaves used on the bottom of my tanks. Also check out the cool roots that the alocasia is sending out.

Carnivorous Plants

These plants were really small, and once you spotted the first one they were all over the place. They are very pretty plants, but are also just so cool and unique.
A different sundew species.
A close up of one of the pitchers. The veining is really cool.
These pitchers were in full sun probably all day, so they have become more red.
A bunch of the pitchers were in bloom. The flowers are very nice, and very strange like the rest of the plant.

Here is a shot of part of the bog I found all these plants. It was a very cool and beautiful place.

Mantellas

A close up of one of my Painted Mantellas (M. madagascariensis). They are one of my favorite frogs. They are very colorful, very active, and have a cute little chirp sounding call.
Same guy as in the first picture. He usually hangs out on top of this peice of wood, and comes down to get food whenever I drop it in the tank.
Boy is this one heavy! It is round just like a pac-man frog.
Same fatty eating springtails. You can see part of his tongue.
This may be heavy, but it is still prettty. He is the most bold of my painted mantellas.

One of two Patricia Tincs I got a little while ago. They are stunning animals, and are always active.

I belive this to be a male.
This shows the front toepads of the suspect male patricia tinc. To me they look much larger then the back ones.

One of two Blue Sipaliwini Tincs I got almost a year ago. I do not know their sexes yet. Hopefully they are a pair.

The stomaches of these guys has a real nice dark blue (almost purplish) with lighter blues and whites marbling, and with black spots on it. To bad he didn't feel like cleaning up a little before the photoshoot.

One of two young Yellowback Tincs I recently got from Sean Stewart. They are very nice, and one even has an orangish head. A very cool tinc morph.

A trio of adult E. trivittatus are the newest addition to the family. They are a little on the jumpy side, but are absolutely beautiful.
Another one of my trivis. These pictures are taken of them in their holding enclosure. I am planning on making a really nice and large tank for them soon.
Same frog as in the first picture. This one is the least jumpy of them.

Run away! They are heading to a coco hut to hide from me. These are the same two shown before.
Very cool little frogs, E. tricolor "Highland morph". They aren't even a year old, but I really like them. It will be really nice once they start calling.
This ones back is more solid. I am unsure if this will stay this way, or break up as it gets more mature.
This is a little out of focus, but you can see the pattern on its back real nice. I plan on trying to get better photos of these guys, as this is the first time I have tried. Also, they are still young so their colors are going to change some more.

One of two male imitators I have. Each have their own tank with 2 females to keep them company.
Here is a picture of a froglet from one of my imitator trios. It was raised by its parents, who fed it eggs as a tad in one of the bromeliads in their tank. It was already a good size when I found it in the tank, and pulled it out to make sure it would get enough food.
Male transporting tad. I took him out of the tank and put him in a container with some water until the tad released, as I wanted to raise the tad myself.

Back view of my Panguana lamasi. They are really metalic in coloration, but it doesn't show up with my digital camera. Also, sorry about the dust and junk on the glass... should have cleaned it before taking the pic, but I was worried he hop away.

One of my P. aurotaenia getting ready for bed. Despite most of what I have read about these guys, they seem to do a fair amount of climbing.

I think this is one of three females I have in my small breeding colony.
