  A front view of the vivarium's clay substrate: you can see the various tunnels created by the earthworms that were introduced.   A closeup of one of the worm tunnels (notice springtails inhabiting tunnel).   A closeup of the springtails that began to inhabit the earthworm tunnels.  Since the springtails have begun to inhabit the worm tunnels, I have noticed a dramatic increase in their numbers. Here is a shot of the corner of the viv--in the morning the lower plants and leaf litter are usually covered with springtails.  introduced clover mite
